Shapes and patterns.

Yesterday I entered the big city.
Not sure what to think yet.
What I do know is there are lots of good shapes.
Here are some.

Printing process.

Low tech but extremely successful; printing on a rug on your floor can have amazing results.
Fabulous Mr Copperwheat, I salute your dedication, creativity and commitment.

Walking to Williamsburg.

Yesterday me and David had a walk through Williamsburg.
David has proved to be a fabulous companion and a delight to get to know better.
Thank you Mr Shaw for sharing my first week in New York.
One thing can be said for the trendy part of Williamsburg is, it has some great food!
Quinuo and red rice salad with artichoke, parmesan and granny smith apple, mmmmm, so nice.
Mr Hamilton, you would have hated it!!

Urghh.

Hello Williamsburg

Arrived yesterday, New York time 7pm, English time 11pm.
The journey went unexpectedly fast, due to the lovely company or David.
I surprisingly felt pretty good, considering the lack of sleep.
A quick settle in, then out for a few drinks and some food at a local bar.
The bar's food was good, but as David pointed out "there was a lot of people with trendy beards! And that woman singing was annoying". (Correct on both points)
This morning has been lazy, a trip to the local supermarket and then a few chores, I said I'd do for Ben,
one of those watering the plants on his  gorgeous terrace.

It's roasting here, hibernating for a while till it cools slightly.
Then out to see some New York life.
My lovely airport taxi driver!
Amazing light in Ben's apartment.

The Essentials!!

Feeling very hyper!
Packing is more stressful than initially thought.
Especially when it's for 5 and a half weeks.
So many things to remember.
But it's ok, the essentials are packed!
Too many coloured cardigan's to mention, and I'm still missing a purple and black one from the collection!
And of course too many belts to ever wear!
Better leave some room for all those nice goodies I'll be finding whilst away though.
Right, I'm off out for my last country pub lunch before The Big Apple.

Ben's been singing this all morning, lord save me!!
